“MEN TALK TOO isn’t just about therapy - it’s about making it clear that men have a right to be heard”

I’m really proud to share something I’ve been working on for a while now. Alongside my ongoing counselling practice, I’ve recently launched a new project called MEN TALK TOO – a space to support and open up conversations around men’s mental health.

It’s something close to my heart. In my work as a counsellor, I’ve seen how many men carry things quietly. Feelings of shame, loneliness, pressure, not knowing how to talk about what’s going on – or even where to begin. Often, they’ve spent years believing they just need to get on with it, or that what they’re feeling isn’t serious enough to bring into therapy.

MEN TALK TOO is my response to that. It’s not just about offering one-to-one counselling – it’s also about creating space for men to feel seen, heard and less alone in the experiences they might struggle to talk about.

I spoke a bit more about the project in a piece recently published by The Argus, which you can read [here]. It gives a bit of background on why this matters, and what I hope this work can offer.

Thanks for reading – and feel free to share this with anyone who might need it.
